Brislington West

The new play area in Brislington West's Convent Park is well used and represent a great investment in the park – thanks to the last Labour government who invested in all the city’s playparks.

Secondary school children here largely go to Brislington Enterprise College recently rebuilt under the Labour government’s Building Schools for the Future programme – now axed by the Tory-led government. Staff and students have responded to this £30m investment and BEC is an improving school with a great OFSTED report.

People who live her rely on the BRI for hospital treatment – this is now benefiting from a massive investment from the last Labour government.

Soon local people will be able to get medical care at the new Hengrove Hospital – no under construction – again thanks to the last Labour government.
